The Oregon Adventist Men's Chorus (OAMC) is a group of Christian men who join in worship, praise, and public sharing of their faith through music.

The members come from over 65 churches in Oregon and Washington, with some from as far away as Arkansas, Nebraska, and Tennessee. They rehearse for about 2½ months prior to the festivals in small groups or on their own, often with rehearsal tapes or cds. The complete group does not assemble until the final rehearsal before a concert.

A festival chorus rather than a standing choir, OAMC presents a festival concert of sacred music each May. Recently, the group has begun to accept a few other invitations (see our history). Prior to each event, the organizers send invitations to participate to a database of nearly 300 singers. Festival concerts usually include 115 to 150 men; for other events, between 32 and 90 have chosen to participate.

The singers are truck drivers, physicians, contractors, teachers, students, auto mechanics, computer engineers, photographers, among other professions.

Expenses are met entirely from donations and sales of recordings. A widening group of supporters donates much time and energy to the organizational aspects.

Lou Wildman is the Conductor of the chorus, and David Schmidt is the President. The administrative team is headed by Giselle Hepker, Executive Director.
