April 10, 2006 2006 Oregon Adventist Men's Chorus Festival Concerts Music Teachers, Students Invited to Observe Rehearsals with Dr. Anton Armstrong Portland, Ore. - When renowned choral conductor Dr. Anton Armstrong of St. Olaf College takes his position in front of a chorus, the singers pay attention. And so does anyone who wants to learn better the choral art form. Music teachers and students are invited to attend and sit in the audience during the rehearsals Dr. Armstrong will conduct with the Oregon Adventist Men's Chorus of first a chamber ensemble, and then the full festival chorus. The rehearsals will be held on: * Thursday, May 4, 6:30 p.m., at Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church, 10501 SE Market St., Portland. Chamber ensemble rehearsal. * Friday, May 5, at Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church. Morning and afternoon sessions times to be announced. Chamber ensemble rehearsal. * Friday, May 5, 6:25 p.m., at Sunnyside Seventh-day Adventist Church. Festival Chorus rehearsal.
